Congrats!!!! You'll have to bring it up to PA sometime when we (Matt & I) reinstitute the Annual Subaru Speed & Feed.

...now if I could only have mine up & running. Being the only bread winner (until mid June) has put it so far behind schedule. :(

If questions still remain on the clutch,,, from what I can tell the flywheel and disc are the same its only the pressure plate and slave cylinder that are different.

Well that and the transmission case of course.

When you adjust the clutch make sure there is a slight amount of dead area in the first bit of peddle travel. Also bleed it like the service manual says but you dont need a tube, even a cup over the nipple to keep it from spraying your face is good.

Off topic - if anyone needs an 05 STI clutch (flywheel, disc, plate) I have one for cheap.

Well once i got the high idle problem figured out i got inspired to finish the rest of the car.

Well today I got it done enough to take it for a test drive.

I put it in reverse and let the clutch out for the first time, and i started to back up :-) sweet

Then i put it in first to go down the street and she started to go foward :) sweeter

Then i shifted into 2nd and 3rd and 4th and running smooth. :D awesome

I turned around and went back up the street and eased into 1st and hit the gas(i couldn't resist), then 2nd, then 3rd and i havn't taken this smile off my face for the rest of the day.... i will probably be smiling in my sleep.

Let the tuning begin
