Nice.
I think a way you can tell someone is drunk is how they kind of wander with their thoughts

Like the guy from The Men's Warehouse says, "I guarantee it."
Ya know... I was re-reading this 2 year old thread and I still dont drink much... I've gotten hammered a few times sure... One nasty hang-over...
But I just dont drink anymore... Once bad experience, and I havent had more than a sip since October.
Its kinda fun sometimes until the next morning when you feel like crap... But like I said... one bad experience can ruin all the fun.

Did the experience involve anal pains in the morning?

Yeah drinking is fun at times but it's also over-rated. I know plenty of people who drink all the time, even every day and I just don't see the fun in that.
Being hung over sucks. I've figured out how to drink and not get hung over. It's pretty simple. There's just a few rules you have to abide and you should be fine.
1. Don't go to sleep drunk
2. Drink plenty of water after (and during) drinking
3. Take multi vitamins before going to bed to replenish the vitamins drinking causes you to piss out
4. Eat before, during and especially after drinking (before going to sleep)
5. Different alcohols will effect hangovers differently. Hard alcohol has a high sugar content and will leave you more hung over. Don't mix hard alcohol/beer/wine.
Some people say aspirin or ibuprofen helps after drinking before passing out but I would avoid that. The last thing you want to do is take pills after (or while) drinking.
If you follow those simple steps and don't get completely blitzed you should be fine. I've been pretty drunk and followed those rules and been fine the next day or at least only mild headache.
Really depends on the individual though.

IMO, drinking is a social activity. That's really the only time I drink.

Yes drinking, IMO should be done with people around. My friend's and I used to smoke weed in high school for a while and we had a great time together but a couple of my friend's started doing it too much. Once they started smoking by themselves, we told them they were taking it too far. I stopped doing it as often after that and the last time I did it was senior prom nearly 4 years ago.
Reason I quit was because I was looking for a new job but also mostly because the only reason I ever did it was to laugh and have fun with my friend's but they weren't having fun or laughing anymore, it was becoming an addiction for them and that took all the fun right out of it.
IMO if you're going to do stuff like that and be all serious, don't even do it.
