You will definitely want to solder and shrink wrap your wires. Especially on something as important and your engines brain.94SS_Canada wrote:

What is shrink wrap?
Also Update for tonight, Also i wont forget this is all for school and as requested by my teacher a picture of me by my car, Ive still Got lots to do and tighten up.
Quick question, im confused by the starter as to which ground goes to where, if someone could set me strieght thatd be great, now onto the degraded horrible pictures, Also did i tell you guys a muffler shopped charged me 40$ for the coffee cup mod and the worst one at that.

With a proper crimper, crimp type heat-shrink connectors are the best. Ask anyone who sells EMS's or installs them on a serious basis.
Not to say a soldered connection won't last for a long time. Its just that these things have a way of popping up when it is most inconvenient. It would such to be 200 miles away from home and one of your trigger wires failed on you.

I've heard Dan's comments regarding soldering as well. However I feel that if done properly soldering should be fine.
For what I'm planning on doing and making a plug in harness from an ECU connector, I'm going to solder, heat shrink wrap and seal all the solder connections in epoxy.
