Go for it then... you'll be better off if you figure it out on your own anyway. My thing used sheet metal, particle board (easy to cut with a jigsaw) epoxy, and that valve. If it was really 'all dat' i could have hooked it up to the throttle pretty easily.
You could take the airbox off and replace it with a nylon stocking...

Jason, when Roman gets the SHO fixed, you can see what the V8's are made of. He has zero intake restriction (i.e. Throttle body is attached directly to the MAF which is attached to the cone) and some exhaust work done.
Thats one way but i am not sure if it will work with every option.

Just need a throttle body to use as the secondary valve from a junkyard
