for a outback/baja, I used stock holes to mount it but it needs to come
forward 2 inches so it is in front of the bumper.

pmmed, for future ref.
Roof is good, driver door and front quarter are only panels dented.
Can needs duty c solenoid, engine is sound
new valve cover gaskets,head gaskets, timing belt, water pump, etc.
Im giving up.
