I think from end tank to end tank is 29, I cant remember but i will be messing with the car today so i will get you an answer for sure. I wish i had a wider intercooler tho. i don't like that you can see the end tanks.

Today I'm going to go to pick n pull and get the metal brackets for the sides of the bumper cover that go into the fender. right now i have just bolts and pulling the skin proves to be quite the hassle. Also i'm going to see if i can get that damn bubble out of the cover.

Also have something else planned for today too. I'm not gonna tell but it has something to do with this

Might as well post some more stuff.

Completely slipped my mind until yesterday when I was driving, the A/T Main plug on my shell decided to drop down and surprise my foot yesterday. That being said, Today I tore up the harness tape and pulled ALL the A/T and ABS wiring. Wont have that problem ever again. Took me about an hour to an hour and a half.

Installed some of the Black trim panels I got from Patrick (randomiam) last weekend. I wanted to use the black center console he gave me, but it was unrepairable. So my center colsole pieces got painted with the Vinyl and Fabric paint pictured a couple posts back, and also my door lights. Turned out Really nice. Might have to do the rest.

This is the wrong piece for my car so I'll have to go get another piece

Well, cleared my headlights with the 22.99 3m kit today, I must say I'm pretty pleased with this kit. Drill attachment with several 500 discs, several 800 discs, 1 3000 foam disc, and a buffing pad attachment. Took me an hour and a half or so.

Also as you can see I sprayed my front bumper, NO MORE RED!!! At this rate, Maybe by the end of May it will be one color.

Went and got some goodies from the 91 LS at pick n pull today :)

I'm going to have full interior for the first time in years. Dark grey suede upper pillar trim pieces!!!

Image
Image

And finally got my hands on a Sedan sun roof track, also has the light grey suede sunroof glass cover with the vents

Image

I'm going to re-seal the tracks and put my sunroof motor on it and install it sometime soon. The wagon track in my car that i re-sealed last year (That doesn't leak!!!) Will be for sale soon so keep an eye out in the parts shed if you need one.

This is how everything was before.
Image

I installed my boost sensore back onto the factory bracket. re did my coolant tank with a new tank. The bottom coolant nipple was in a different location on the new tank so i had to make a bracket to space it away from the manifold so the hose wasn't kinked anywhere. I'm pretty happy with it.

old tank,

new tank,

bracket,
Image

Mounting, You can see how the boost sensors already look much batter in their factory positions versus how i had them mounted before. I took out my EBC too since it's not being used at the moment. also re did my vac hoses for the wastegate solemoid. Also put a new coolant line on for the turbo with new clamps.
ImageImage

Take note on the nipple for the coolant feed line to the turbo and the coolant nipple on the bottom of the resovoir.

finished results,
Image

Heres some pics of the new rear deck lid/speaker cover from a 92-4 SS. I repainted the speaker grilles and the little plastic round pieces with some vinyl/fabric paint. I'm really impressed. Also got a couple pics of the finished interior.
ImageImageImageImageImage

Also found an old subaru badge from a different legacy sitting in my garage, probably from a 91. put some 3m double sided tape on it and put it on my garnish since i didn't have the actual subaru word on it. Doesn't match too well BUT I like it.

I'll be ordering some grimmspeed phenolic spacers and a new intake piece here shortly to fix other issues that just "grind my gears"

When it's all said and done, I want to have all the Breather lines for the heads underneath the intake manifold so it's not exposed. With all that work and converting to coil on on plug, the bay should look real nice.

Make sure you get the ones with rubber seals so you don't have to buy two sets of intake gaskets every time you have the manifold off.

Grimmspeed makes those? the chinese rally-tech website that has them cant sell them because they cant find someone to cut them and machine them for the o-ring. I've been emailing them every couple months to see if there were any changes to that detail.

Man, lately I am realizing I need a clone of mysekf. Between work and all the stuff I need/want to do there isn't enough time. It's exhausting just to think about.

Finish patricks patch harness
Fix my dads ford van
Install girlfriends tmic
Do my carbon roof wrap
Install my 20g ecu and c.o.p. conversion
Fix my intercooler piping
Prime/prep the rest of the car for wcss
Work (yes I said it once before)
Go pick up parts from kimo

Who wants to make me a clone of myself?

Carl Davey makes/sells them. They're much nicer than the phenolic ones I believe. At least they look it from the pictures and the design. Eliminates the gaskets which is sooo nice. Lilttle pricey though. But when you factor in not having to by 4 gaskets every time... That's like $25 to replace them. And I've replaced mine a couple times.

There are too many of you as is. :o
If its any consolation, I'd be happy to take the 20g ECU off your hands so that you won't have to put it in.
