Lifted Legacy wagon--I don't know Mike. Didn't we see that wagon when we were looking for my driveshaft, the couple had their child in a stroller, we talked to them a bit? Still, maybe they just recently put the tranny in.

There is a green one and a red one. Both with 3" lifts. The green has an EJ D/R.



You can find an EJ D/R starting around $1200. They're not as low geared as an EA D/R though.

But you can swap the EA D/R ratio into an EJ box, if I recall a certain Aussie site correctly.

Into an EJ D/R box yes. First is the only one that really needs changing.

keep an eye on ebay, make sure they have the exact transmission pictured. some of them don't know exactly what they have, I was just short of getting one a couple weeks ago for just under 900 shipped

Oh gees! I thought it was a lifted legacy sedan that someone rebadged. I guess subaru discontinued the outback sedan at the same time the legacy wagon was discontinued, so my2008. Weird. I've never seen a 4th gen one.

SUS are pimpin. If I was single and childless, I'd make one into an exploration rig.

I saw another one of those weird late model outback sedans. This one was a 3.0r. How could i have never seen one before and all the sudden two in the course of a month? sigh.

Also, what appeared to be a cute girl in a pretty old and beat up brat. That was kind of awesome.
