So I bought some stuff from pnp today. Got an na engine harness just in case I needed it for my other harness. Turns out I may because it only has 2 connectore behind the battery on all the na legacys I looked at today. Turbo legacy has 3

I could use a spare harness. Extra connectors and wire is always nice to have.

I'm replacing my whole harness from ecu to front of the car. Too many electrical issues. The turbo harness will be the spare at this point.

Mike, I see. I didn't realize you needed 4 injectors.

Ok. It sounds like you may have already done the swap, but the 90 & pretty sure the 91 non-turbo harness should work.

Hey man..since youre so awesome at getting these robtunable ecus, think youd be willing to part with one in the near future? Will need another robtune setup once my 91 runs again.

(Got yellowtops on the way for my first setup woot!)

Mine haven't been rob tuned. I've been just buying them off ebay. I may go rob tuned tho, I have this td05 20G that needs a rebuild and ive been looking for some 550s.

After the 1st, I'm buying a wideband. I wanna make sure that running this ECU without a tune is going to be safe.

Been really busy lately working on subarus n stuff...

WCSS 14 I told Jake I wanted to buy his STI muffler, well I finally bought it Friday along with a fairly new Turbo Legacy Radiator. The muffler was re welded to fit 3" exhaust, which I have, and the hangers were already set up for legacy. So I spent a few hours driving and locating another 3" 2 bolt clamp. Finally got one and went to work!

My welds are shitty but they work...

And because everytime i do some exhaust work on this, I had to fire it up open down pipe. WARNING ITS LOUD, turn your speakers down...

So I made an executive decision a couple days ago. The 91 SS in my garage waiting for a transmission swap is losing it's precious 22T. I'm Selling that car to my girlfriend's brother in January and he's only going to daily drive it. So it's going to get an N/A short block.

With that 22T block, i think it's time to build a motor. Mostly because I already have a set of Manley rods. They're a tad bit longer than stock. With my heads and those rods and custom pistons, I'll be able to get my compression back up.

The block has 204k miles on it, so i'll probably experiment with options. Maybe 2.35

we'll see. Just a recap for you Robert, I'm already running a dohc swap. I have Twin Turbo heads.

Over the weekend I pulled my N/A Radiator out to swap in one of the Turbo radiators in my garage. Swap was a breeze, but I wanted to check my timing, which was a great idea. With all 4 cams lined up properly, the crank gear was off one tooth, towards the driver's side of the car.

Hmmm.....

Anyways I fixed that, got my handy image for counting teeth on a dohc motor and after an hour of counting and trying to figure out if i need to count raised teeth or recessed teeth, i got it figured out.

Most of my off boost hesitation is gone, still a tad bit left. I'm going to reset the ECU and see if that helps.

That would have retarded all your cams by however many degrees one tooth equals. Which would explain your lack of low-end power and response.
