Man those brembos & their rotors are the hotness! I compared my '06 WRX rotors against them and mine looked downright tiny!

brembos don't really stop any better than 06 wrx brakes. they're both 4pots. brembos just look cooler, are more expensive, use more expensive pads and rotors, and limit what size wheels you can run even further

OK, keep telling Mike how useless and wasteful his new brakes are, in his own thread

That's not necessarily true. The brembros produce about 20% more brake torque than the 4-pots. If you have the extra tire grip to be able to use that extra brake force the Brembros will stop better/quicker.

ive driven both, and the brembos are leaps and bounds ahead of the 4pots, like Josh pointed out...

Besides, the main reason im buying brembos is so i can run 04 sti rear hubs, and my sti R180 diff to go with my six speed, mr. smarty pants. Maybe you "wish" you had some?

Thanks bro! The rotors are only a little bit bigger then the 06 LGT brakes i pulled off, but wow do the brembos grab harder.... 120mph-30mph feels like your eyes are gonna pop out hahaha

not saying its useless or wasteful for someone to upgrade from lgt brakes to brembos, but its useless and wasteful for people to "upgrade" from 06-07 wrx 4pots to brembos. i know people who've done it and they regretted it.

Yeah, I love those wheels. And I also agree that 17s or 16s are perfect on these cars and 18s are too much.

I used a heat gun to soften the adhesive that holds the lens on and pulled as I went, using a paint mixer to help pry it out once I got an end loose. Other people have used the oven set on 150 or something. The adhesive is reusable.

Wow what a build! Beautiful wagon. That color works really well with the Advans. Those brembos look terrific behind those wheels! Don't pay attn to all the haters, its just jealousy. That's a meaty amount of rubber for a 1st gen!

Really like the fog lights too. Your car is all sorts of awesome!
