Any way you can send me the original? I like to keep the dimensions as close to my spec as possible, and yours is very narrow.

Download the Gimp. It's a free image editing software that's kind of like a basic version of photoshop.

Start out with the picture you want to use, crop it, scale it, re-size the canvas to make it the right dimensions, and add text.

I made this in about 5 minutes:
