lol... Thanks Zach... but I'm sure someone at Subaru knows more... lol

Anyways.

The hood scoops are different... However I believe they have the same mount brackets and only the top part is different.

Nevermind...

I was wrong...

The post facelifts are wider at the rear... Shaped like this at the base \.../
While the prefacelifts were like this /...\

So... no... for all of us Post Facelifters... Were screwed... this wont work for us. Sorry guys.

I'm growing to like mine more as I get used to it. I'm still not sure if it's a one-off or a production item. No part numbers or anything like that, that I can see anyways. Quality is really good if it's a one-off.

Very cool! Went into today, lets say that there's good progress and a bit of change on design, but it's for the better definitely.. Cause it makes it more durable and keeps it from going over the initial build budget and more importantly for you guys, it's a better product at the same price as quoted originally!

I can't wait!

When we get this guy cracking, I'm thinking we've found an outlet for our creativity! So as long as the parts we have him build have a 10+ order count eventually.. He'll keep building!

Dont worry, I'm thinking the post face lifts will get a scoop too, but first things first.. :P

Oh and sideskirts... if we can have someone send a pair to him, we can build the JDM skirts next...

If things go well with the prefacelift hood scoops, we can:

1. Post face lift scoop build...
2. JDM sideskirt build...

3. If we have a good turn out for these three projects, I'm thinking hoods or trunk lids!!!!!
4. RS scoops... AND if we get an already existing but no longer in production piece OR a limited run part, he can make it!

So let's hope this first scoop sells well, cause if I can get him interested *I wont have to fully fund other custom building... AND more custom Legacy parts!!!! Who knows what we can convince him to do..... he even built a wide body first Gen MR2 body kit... *hint hint!*

One thing at a time... but he's now on the pre facelift scoop!

I had no idea what all changed on it.. but if the fitment isn't LOTS different, it'd be a minor mold change to make a post facelift scoop... but one thing at a time...

hehe don't cook your chickens before they hatch.. :P I'm hoping to remedy this "problem" soon after the first scoop run is through...!

I'll just have to find a post-facelift car and bring it to him to work his magic.

uh side skirts should be done, seriously.

there was someone on here that had some, i saw it awhile ago.

i worked out a deal with my local subaru dealership to get ten sets of each side for a total of 3500. so like 350 each (set). only if we get some from japan in may though, which i don't think will happen.

so if you have the JDM skirts you should let us make a mold of them. please (whoever does) :D

You may want to make your own post about this because that is a pretty good price for a set of skirts.
