I forwarded your message to Bram, the guy who buys these cars and sells the parts,
legacy4ever wrote: as for the vibrations firstly check if the wheels are balanced. I also had some wierd vibrations and noises, the reason - one bolt was missing were the driveshaft is joined together.
I also used a complete different set of wheels and the vibration was there, so it aint the wheels. But nicely balanced wheels are always better,

where did all those seats come from

The seats came from the Legacy Turbo donor car !!! The STI seat was allready mine.

Actually, we did not work with a manual or something. Just look anywhere for every bolt 3 on top, 2 sides, 1 front right side, 4 in the mid section, . Disconnect the mass wires to body. disconnect the cable for the heater, disconnect a couple of wiring plugs, disconnect the bonnet lever, then it should come off a couple off inches. Then check if all the wires are disconnect from car wiring to dash wiring. Lift the dash over the steering colomn, and take it out of the car.

It's now 2.51 at night and the alarm clock rings at 7.15 but anyway here's a preview picture of what is looks like,

I have to find some black c-style plastics and black seatbelts for the rear. I have the ones for driver and passenger.

Goodnight !!!

it turned out pretty good!

if you can't find those rear panels in black, try to paint them black (spray a plastic primer before).

are those some alarm sensors on the A-posts?

I spotted an XT at works too! ;)

It looks great, and i got rid of most of the cracking sounds from the dashboard!!

Paint is a very good option in case that i could not find replacements. I have placed some (forum)ads so I hope to have a reaction soon. Still need the back seatbelts for the rear seats.

The alarm sensors are a fake accessory, they drilled holes in the A style for the sensors so i placed them in my car. I hope it scares of thiefs. :-D

XT rocks too !

Whoa, what did you do with the Nardi steering wheel????
Why pull that off in favor of the new wheel?

I wanted a narrow wheel, the nardi is just like the normal one about 350mm wide and the Sparco is 330mm wide. Feels much better and the wheel is closer to the driver! Better for the driving position.

The Nardi lies useless in the trunk!

Also the shiftknob is about 3cm lower than standard!
That feels great, instant short shift!!!

Do you have plans to keep the Nardi wheel?

H&R rules !! :-D
With 2005 WRX Sti dampers and the STI topmounts!!
I still have to adjust a whole lot; Ride Height, camber etc.

AND:
I also have an LSD Forester S turbo rear diff. A rear subframe from a turbo with stabi (from a whole other car) And disc brakes at the back with ferodo pads !!!

All installed in the last couple of weeks! :-D

----------
Last thursday,
A red flashing sign --> stop police!
Sir we noticed u because of your driving style.
- Oh could be but I wasn't speeding. (32mph limit)
No but you took all the sharp 90degree corners with 32mph too.
- mmm Oh ok yeah
Well the reason why we stop you now is that your right tail light is broken
- Oh that's funny I regularly check my car, i know almost any technical fact about this car.
Ok well we give u a warning. Fix the light before u drive it!
- Thanks guys have a nice evening
:-D

[quick rant] Why is it that everyone other than the US gets cool version of our cars to pull crazy factory parts from and we are stuck purchasing the similar things from the aftermarket community? [/quick rant]
--------------------------------------------------------
BTW, congrats on all your great finds & kick-ass purchases for your car!

Thanks !!

Well it's a combination. Our Subaruclub netherlands is real active with their cars GTT/WRX/Forester. So they import loads of stuff from Japan etc. But there is one guy Marnix who is crazy about Legacy's and he puts a Legacy together with different suitable parts to make it a perfect driveable car!! With his knowledge and the ways to the parts then its only a matter of money !! Also luck is needed to get the used parts at a fair price and condition.
