You can probably effectively take care of the fluting in a localized manner since you're only going to need the center where the light is directed to be cleared and you can probably do that well with a sander. I'd tape off the circle you want to clean up and just zip that area down. Trying to clean all the flutes is a PITA and will likely give you less than stellar results. Another option is to cut off the fluted part of the lens and plastic weld a new piece of polycarbonate onto the surround.

Keep in mind that some states require high and low beams for inspection. Otherwise, very clean work!

I'm assuming that's low beams right? That doesn't look too bad. Does the upper cutoff line become less deliniated when you move further away from the wall?

I'm not big on the hooker killing, but I would love to know what had to be done "wiring-wise" to hook up those headlight projectors!

Wiring wise i just snipped my headlight connectors and wired in to the igniter ballasts. really simple.

Great looking car man! Always took a liking to the 91's because i'm more into the square cars, love what you've done with it. I have seen projector retro's and most of the guys do sand down the flutes if they're lucky enough to have plastic lenses, but it's good to see that they work equally well WITH flutes.

Also, the jdm wrx seats are a bolt in affair, and the wrx rear seat?

Well here's another update. I've been waiting for some nice weather so i can snap some pix of my new additions, but it seems the weather is stuck in gray/wet mode. So here are the pictures of a wet dirty car.
