i just got another (shit!) ticket. arrrgh. anyhow, when the cop ran my liscence, he said it came back registered as a chevy. i asked him what name it says it was registered under and he said he didn't check it. if i call penndot tomorrow and it's registered as a chevy, but all the tickets say it's a subaru will this help me fight it in court? could anyone help me out here? what if my whole registration is all balled up and this plate isn't even in my name? anyone have any ideas? i think if penndot is messed up then the tickets would be voided, correct? help!!! anyone know the penndot point system? i asked the cop how many points i wiould get and he said i'd have to check with penndot. what's up with that? i thought the pa point system was standard?!?!? is this different on turnpikes?

btw, it was 97 in a 65 this time. i can't help it the car likes to go above the limit. :p

I hate to tell you this.....but apparently you don't seem like you've learned your lesson after the first few tickets......slow your ass down!!!!!

The tickets are associated with YOU......not the vehicle.......not sure if the vehicle thing will do anything with your points though......really doubt it though.....


You really need to slow your ass down man.......I don't want to sound like a broken record or your parents.....but look at it this way.......get some more tickets......you won't be driving at all!!!

I KNOW! i hadn't gone over the speed limit at all during this trip and it was only for this section. was going up a hill and car started dying on me, so i hammered on the gas and it flew up the hill. had to turn off anyhow to fix the air filter (long story... died on me once today aswell...) and when i came up over the hill i had hazard lights on to pull off and was already braking. i was over the limit like all of 2 mins too. just to accelerate over the hill. after he was done and i went i still had to pull off about two miles up the road to fix the damned thing. i don't know man... i think between these two tickets, if i don't get something done, i'll lose my license.

shit. well, i'm off to bed. need to be up at 5am for work.

They're not likely to cut you any slack on that one, you were going
to fast. When you get up close to 100mph, people start to freak out
on you. I'm surprised you didn't get another ticket for wreckless
driving. In any case, the ticket goes to the driver, not the car, so
it doesn't matter what car your plates are registered to. In fact...
I'm surprised he didn't write you yet another ticket for improper
tags. The only thing different on the turnpike is the cops, not the
laws. I assume it was a State Trooper that pulled you over, and not a
local police.
