low idle / alternator or batter problems as well....

Take your car to a local autoparts store and have them check your battery and alternator. They'll usually do that for free.
As far as rough idle.......You could try cleaning some cleaner down the IAC valve tube....and stuff......if you're interested in that....there's a thread on the USMB about how to clean the valve.

okay guys... i need some help.
car idles around 300 - 400 and is jerky sometimes... other times, it idles fine. now i just got back from ordering a pizza and when i left i had to keep turning the key to get the altenator to turn over. got home, shut if off and turned it back on.... only hd to turn it once, but had to hold it there for about 8 seconds before it started.... please tell me it might just be the battery... although i thought if it was the battery i'd hear a clicking or something... i hear nothing.... or maybe it's the altenator that's supposed to click when it's going... someone help! low idle is really starting to bother me too... this car worked perfect when i bought it a month ago!!!!
