hey guys, i've been looking for a legacy turbo for a couple of years
now and just came across one... it's a 1992 Legacy Turbo 5spd,
they're asing $2000 canadian for it, it has 330,000km, a bit of
surface rust, and requires new rear brake rotors...

There's a new clutch in it, new front brakes and new cv joints up
front...

I'll use it as a street car for a bout a year and then prepare it
for rallying

Any advice is much appreciated....thanks:)

Hey there extremely_old_fart. I just bought my 1992 legacy turbo 5spd for $500 bucks CANADIAN. Crazy cause it too had 333,000km, bit of rust and I had to replace the rear brake rotors, front lower ball joints and the front cv joints. The clutch was replaced and $700 of timing belt work was done 1 month earlier. I say it would be a great deal but you should try talking him down Let the guy know that there is over 300,000k on it. I got one of the best deals in my lifetime buying this car.
That seems pretty concidental don't you think??? I'd say offer $1300 and see what you get.

PS. With everything I have done to put my car on the road, certified, I still payed less then $1500
see you,
ryan
