I am in communication from someone offering to sell me a Subaru manual on CD for $31 after my $31 was outbid for the same thing he was selling on eBay.

I indicated I had Chilton's and Hayne's manuals and asked whether this was one or more of the factory service manuals, and if so for what parts of the car.

His response is below;

Hi there, this manual is made by Mitchell On-Demand. It puts Haynes and Chiltons and Alldata to shame. These are the best you can get. They cover mechanical and eletrical aspects of the automobiles. They have tons of illustrations and diagrams to use. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I wish I had stopped bidding sooner, his offer would probably be less. Has anyone heard of or have info about this Mitchell On-Demand CD?

Hmm.....I haven't heard of them.....but for $31......it's not too bad.

How many cd's are they? You could just make a copy, get a little to
help compensate your cost, once you get it......or if you get it.....

just a thought.....

I have the FSM's for my car.....they are good.....not the most
intuitively organized, or no master index type thing.......which would
be nice.

I'd definitely be interested in these. IIRC, my BMW
mechanic friend recommended getting a set of these as
they are MUCH better than the Haynes stuff that I/we
have to deal with. I want the service manuals, but
don't have the cash right now.

I have this CD larry I somehow ended up with Acura, Isuzu,and Honda in
the same deal it covers '86 to '94 and looks pretty good. Now I am
working on another deal that might go and that is parts.
