Who here is running a Saab 900 intercooler? Is it true that max boost is 9psi or was that just in one case? Please let me know what psi you’re running and if you have some pics please share.

Plans of mice and men... I have 2 Saab intercoolers. an a Starion
IC, and an Audi IC I'm selling the audi. I bought them all for future
projects. you can see them on my web page.. The audi Is ok, but
after buying the Starion it went on sale easily, as it is way smaller..
the Saab 900 intercoolers are HUGE! and i plan on running 12-13
with it on my 87 Subaru RX SDN 4wd. The other is when i turbo
my legacy.. The Starion fits quite nicely under the hood, (duh once
you remove the tire there becomes lots of possiabilities).. The
Saab intercooler is going to be a TIGHT squeze but i WILL get it in
there even if i have to cut the hood to do it. It should also fit into the
Legacy bonet with some fanagleing.. actually now that i think about
it the saab could be thin enough that mounting it in the front in it's
stock position would be possiable but it might hang down a bit
under the body work.
7-9 PSI is where your running right now i think.. stock.. so going to
13 should not be a problem especailly if you plan on running an
Saab IC.
although fuel management is expensive S-AFC's is your freind. it'll
help out with boost and fuel ratio's

beware though Brinkster my host has a 16mb bandwith limit a day
(sux ass) so if it gets visited to much they will close it down. Just

Saab 900 Intercooler
How much boost is the Saab 900 IC good for in our cars. It's a
compact unit, will it adequitely cool the incoming air at say 15
pounds of boost? Will I still be able to run 91 octane fuel at 15 psi
with this type of IC? Or should I go with a larger unit?
