I have the 15" alloy wheels on my '91 turbo. I was looking at
getting larger rims for the car. However I was told that could mess
up the ABS on the car. Is this so? And if so, is there a way around
it?

I haven't really heard of this.......I know people that have upgraded to
larger wheels and haven't had any issues.

by this do you mean 1/2" (10-15mm) smaller profile tyres, for 1" (25mm)
bigger rims?

With my WRX rims, in order to get back to my original rolling diamter
of 195/60-15, I'll have to go with 215/50-16, as an example.

You'll most likely have issues with 18's.....trust me. I had a little bit of trouble with my 16's.
