Egt’s on a turbo car… what is it? Is it something that you need to worry about on a stock turbo sedan? Is it something you need to worry about at 10psi (no intercooler) any info would be greatly appreciated.

EGTs : Exhaust gas temperature.

On a basically stock car with a mile rise in boost, its not something you
need to worry about.

If you were to try and tune every single eeety bity quarter of a horsepower,
then yes, it is something you pay attention to. Of if you have fuel or
ingition control of some sort.

Of you go through some of the archives at http://talon.dsm.org, it can be
very enlightening as far as knowledge on the subject.
