Where can I get spacers at? Or did you make them?

You will almost definitely need speaker spacers to put any speakers in. The speaker will hit the window when it's down if you don't do this. I have Infinity Kappa 63i's in my front doors. Had to do some persuading, but I have 1" speaker spacers, and it works.

Well......the first set I bought. The second set I had to make. The tweeter portion of the kappas came off of the first set of speakers after like 2 years......sent them back to infinity, they sent me a new updated pair. Well the new ones were a tad deeper, so used some marine plywood and made spacers. I've got some pics on my site

I’ve got some pioneer splits in the front of mine. I used the 3 hole setup and only needed to pack out the bottom two holes. You should make your own spaces out of some dense timber ie MDF, ply for the best sound. If you use plastic it will sound like plastic.

I took the old front speakers and drilled the spot welds and mounted the
new ones on the old plates. $.02 Dan
