saab intercooler

I am currently working on a saab intercooler install. I have modified the
inlet and oulets to the same diameter as need for the subaru. My question is
has anyone tried moving the clutch cylinder or remote mounting a fluid resivior
for the clutch cylinder? The saab intercooler is alittle to thick for it to
fit in there easily. I am also trying to clear out some extra room for a fan
so I can eliminate some of the heat soak an air/air intercooler would see when
car is not moving.
