i have a problem here. the other day i went to the store and when i
came out my car wouldn't start. after checking all the hoses and
wires and what not i gave it another try and it started. i went to
another store and the same thing happened. now it's at home here and
it won't start at all. the things i've checked so far are the plugs
(they look fine), wires, battery terminals, timing belt, and checked
for a spark on two of the plugs before the battery went dead. got a
spark from them but it was a yellow color. could that be from a
dying battery or is that likely my problem? also i listened for the
fuel pump to kick on at the gas tank fill door when the car is turned
on but heard nothing. is the pump loud enough to hear like that?
also the codes i got from a while back when i pulled them last
suggested the cam position sensor was bad but i ruled that out
because of the spark i got from the plug wire. is that a correct
assumption? any help would be great.

oh one more thing. i went to check the fuel pump fuse and the relay
but i can't seem to find a fuse for the pump(is it the one marked
engine ign.) and i can't seem to find the relay either. also how do
i test a relay?

need a little more info......like does the engine turn over, or does it just do nothing.....does it click when you turn the ignition?

Have you tried jumping the car?

Have you checked the fuel pump connection under the rear driver side seat. I have had problems with it not maintaining connection. Had to disconnect and wiggle it back together. There is another under the inspection plate in the trunk / rear storage area.

I replaced the fuel pump once and had the problem occur again within 2 months. After cleaning and wiggilin connections haven't had any problems in 6 months.....

Best of luck,
Carl
