Does anybody know if the climate control unit will go straight into are liberty’s (legacy’s)? Also if anybody has some sort of work shop manual on the subject they can scan and post.

I am also thinking of swapping the standard sliders for climate console from my other car but haven't actually got around to it yet so can't tell you. However, 1st impressions are that around the standard controls there are some stiff cables (probably for the sliders) whereas in the car with climate these don't seem to be apparent or else much shorter.... need to actually attempt it to be able to say...but that wont be for a while though...no time!

It's more complicated then just a simple change the brain unit over. There are other sensors, like sun load sensor, ambient temp sensor and so forth that the climate control has, that the normal HVAC controls do not have.......and that's not really saying anything whether the wiring is there to put the sensors in.

So.....I suppose it could be done.....but looks like a royal pain the arse.
