Anyone if this will bolt into a '92 sedan? Would I need wrx rear axles
also?
Sure would be nice to have a limited slipp in the rear.
Thanks

Is the 92 a turbo or N/A. I'm assuming it's a n/a car.......as long as the final drive ratio is the same it "should" bolt up.

Its a turbo. Does that make a difference beyond , diff ratio? I guess
the ratio definitely needs to be the same to stay in sync with the
front diff. We have a 3.9 in the rear for turbo sedans, correct?

Yeah I'm pretty sure you have a 3.9 final drive ratio. You can look on the diff and it should tell you. I had thought the turbo legacy dif's were LSD........
The WRX has 4.111 final drive ratio

Josh,
On the LSD for the turbo's, you're correct. The
Legacies have a limited slip differential, at least
for the U.S. spec. Unsure about the other country's
specs.

The older legacy uses pin attached rear axles while the newer model
subaru use slide on style. If this would bolt up you would definatly
need either the WRX axels or another slide on type.
Anyone have an idea why I have not received any emails from this list
yet? I signed up hours ago and I have the individual email option
checked and I still have only received the initial welcome message.

Remember, only the 91's are certain to have come with an LSD.

We have come to call the older style diffs outy's and the newer style
inny's refering to the axel needed for the diff. The the '02 WRX we
have that is salvage has the inny type (special axels)and is a 3:54
to 1 ratio but this was an automatic.
