I have been reading archived posts on istalling a boost guage.
I am about to install one on a Canadian model 91 Turbo AWD Sedan, but
one thing I worry about is when the
exhaust manifold is tapped/drilled for the installation of the
pressure unit, won't there be metal filings falling into the engine?
For those who have done this installation, do you know how you
prevented this from happening?

You dont have to drill and tapp the intake manifold. If you open the
hood, look at the chamber of the intake manifold that goes to the
cylinder thats to the left and closest to you. You will see a vacuum
line that sticks out of the manifold. tee this off and run the line
to your guage. Oh ya, Tee it off before the stock tee which splits
the line to the charcoal canister and map sensor.
