Are EJ22T's Common?

A future projuct car of mine is a 1995 Impreza 2 dr coupe. I'd like
to drop an EJ22T into it. These engines have more potential then the
EJ20Turbo. I don't want to sacrifice my Legacy Turbo for this though.
My question is, how common are these engines, and are the prices
reasonable?
Thanks,
Mark

I'm sure you can find one at junkyard or engine rebuilder. May want to
contact CCR engine rebuilders

You are about to open a big can-o-worms on this issue. EJ22T are easy enough to get but I would not call common (in relation to a Honda, or Nissan or a Toyota).
EJ20T are actually very easy to get as well and sometimes cheaper. I personally believe they have just as much potential or more... but there I go opening the can anyways!

A very large can I must say but for what's it worth we have one EJ22t
at 450hp and are building one that on orders from the customer will
deliver 500 (really a bored and sleeved 2.2 to 2.5). But aside from
all that I prefer the EJ22t it can be taken to 250 without spending a
fortune, parts, info, and service are readily available and it is
dependable.
