Hi, i'm in the process of installing a WRX intercooler with a
turbosmart BOV in my car, i would like to know how soft to set the
BOV. For instance at what minimum boost level when i let off the gas
should the BOV initiate and relesae the pressure? (Ie; it should go
off when i let off the gas at 6psi of boost)

it should vent event at .00001 psi of boost

".00001" Is that why the stock BOV dose not like to be vented to the out
side?

<PRE>Nope...it can vent either way and be happy, as its just air. The reason is
the car uses a mass air flow sensor (aka MAF or MAS) which, to be a proper
setup, must vent back into teh intake tract.

When I pull the vent tube off the BOV, and plug the hole in the intake.
The car runs fine, except when get to 50 + mph. The valve stays open and
it runs like shit.

Any ideas??
