I just recently installed a 1st gen Apexi super AVC-R boost
controller but I have a few questions. The boost solinoid makes a
ticking when it operrates and its not adjusting to the set boost
pressure. I tried the Apexi web site checked all there documentation
and even called them and they said that its 5 years old and that they
have no documentation on it except for the basic manual.

I need to now if this ticking is normal and if anyone can help me
with some wire color and pin location for the six pin connector that
mates the interrior harness to the engine side harness or has an
engine side harness to sell. this info may fix the problems.

What happened was that I bought it off of ebay and the connector on
the engineside harness was missing. (the first gen s-AVC-R has a two
piece harness not a single piece like the new ones.)so I need to
double check my wiring to make sure everything is wired correctly so
any pin locations and the wire colors for them would be of great
help. I also need a vacuom presure sensor if anyone has one.

I have an Super AVC-R the newest one in my 92 turbo and it did made
that noise when they working. So I think it should be normal
operating!
What kind of wiring you are looking for?

I think you could buy it from Apex-i USA since they also sell those
parts too, but I am not 100% sure they will have the parts for the
Old unit!
