Locating the EGR Valve

The Haynes manual shows where the EGR valve is located (probably showing on a later model), but I cannot find it when I look under the hood of my Canadian 91 Turbo. Is it located elsewhere in my model year? I really have looked everywhere I can.

You don't have an EGR valve....that's why you can't find it.

The 1990-1994 legacies did not have/need an EGR valve.

In 1995 the EGR valve was put back on.....mainly due to emissions BS and the swap to OBD2 I believe.

EGR valve = Ehaust Gas Recirculation valve. Essentually it recirculates exhaust gases back into the intake to help the engine warm up faster, and in turn pollute less.
