Whiteline endlinks for '91 Legacy
Can anyone confirm what Whiteline endlink part numbers would be
correct for a '91 Legacy 4WD turbo sedan? I saw KLC19 and KLC20, but
aren't these for the newer Legacies? Thanks for the assistance,

The front end links for all the newer subies 90+ are the same.
The rears may or may not be different. The older 90-91's and some 92's
got a different end link. I'm not sure if the turbo legacy in 91 got
the older style end links or not.
It should be pretty obvious though. If the rearest lateral link of the
two is circular shaped and has a bracket welded to it. You have the
newer links. Plus the links will be C-shaped.
If the lateral link is rectangular shaped, and the drop link goes
directly through it. You have the older style. You can convert the
older style to the newer style, so you can use the new style end link.
Only thing you'd need to do probably is get the car aligned afterward.

Thanks for the helpful information. I'll have to look
at it again. Should I find that I have the older
style on the rear, this conversion, would it consist
of changing out the housing at the connections of the
endlinks? Thanks again,

Not sure I get what you mean?
If you get the end links, and lateral links, they'll fit fine.

Rod,
Then what type of end links do you have, as in,
does Whiteline sell the older style rear links? Or
might it be advantageous to convert the rear to the
newer style links and switch lateral links as Josh has
suggested, in your opinion? Thanks for any input.

Whiteline does not make endlinks for the older style.
The only down side to them is how they mount to the lateral link. Basically just have two rubber bushings sandwiched between the top and bottom pieces, and then is clamped tight. Other then that, the link is fine. It's made of metal rather then plastic.
Sorta like the dog-bones or the transverse motor/trans mount. Mine is metal....the newer ones are plastic. But bushings do wear out too.

OK,
Thanks again for the info, yes I plan on replacing
the bushings also. Hopefully, now I've got the info.
that I'll need to proceed with this. My plan is to
replace the struts with KYB GR-2s, strut boots, bump
stops, bushings and the Whiteline end links for front
and rear. Any suggestions of strut top mounts that
would be fairly inexpensive?

What is inexpensive? I bought sti ones from z1auto for $45 a piece.
Only problem was lead time. I had to wait a while. He may have some in
stock....not sure. Contact Adam at www.z1auto.com if interested in the
sti ones.
