Tampa Subaru Challenge

Since it's not Legacy-related, I'll shorten it up a little...
But I had a blast Friday and Saturday in Tampa at the Subaru Challenge with my XT. My friend and I went down there for camraderie with other Subie people, free swag, and a thrilling autocross event, my first autocross ever...
My XT was probably the star of the show, not because it was fast, but because it was so different! Needless to say, the overwhelming majority of cars were WRX's and STi's
I was easily the oldest car there, probably by a decade
and when I fooled around with the air suspension to lower it some 2 inches, it was quite a little go-kart...
I ended up running a best time of 56 seconds... The best time I saw was the Koby WRX, sponsored by a dealer, that ran some 43 seconds. My claim to fame was when a WRX consistenly ran 59 seconds
Anyway, it was a blast, and if my Legacy wasn't PMS'ing
she could have gone too... Oh well, maybe next year
