WRX fuel pump in 93 turbo?

Gang -
Has anyone tried this? I have a WRX fuel pump taking up space (not much) in the garage. Do the Legacys have the old style plug? I had to have a jumper fabricated when I did this upgrade on a 93 Impreza. I'd rather not deal with it again. Cheers.
BTW - yes, I did do a search.

I'm not the best one to comment on this but do a search, because from what I remember our stock fuel pump is sapposedly better than the wrx one. So the concensus is that if your going to replace it go for one of the 255 lph walbrow pumps, but otherwise stick with what you got.
Again, I'm not the authority. Do a search on it, you'll find some good info.

other issue is that our pumps are a constant voltage pump. The WRX has a fuel pump controller to vary voltage, which alters the pumps flow.

But there shouldn't be a problem just running the pump at full voltage all the time, right? Unless it's not designed to be able to handle the heat of running full speed continuously...

That would be my guess. To me, it doesn't seem worth it to take the chance. I'll just pick up an application specific walbro & not worry about it.
