Much easier than spending all day waxing the car.. and more fun to do as well. These are of me again up at my friend's moto-x track / field in his "back yard". He said he had to do track work anyway this week so he let me do some high speed drifting on the muddy course (even tried one of the big jumps.. my AGX's love me). I stopped once the ruts on the fastest line started making the car bottom out :D Then I started doing doughnuts and sliding around in his big field.. it was just like playing around on snow but faster and more messy. Anyway.. as you can see I had some fun.

Just one of many.. more of my pics here:

The field.. the track is in the background:

And the guy who owns the place (Adam) out in his 91 Jeep Renegade (he went into the deep stuff on the infield):

Awesome I do that in our other legacy's hehe, I baby my car too much to do that. Yesterday with that freezing rain ottawa got, I went into one of those nice big parking lots, woohooo. Just remember to clean that mud off, it acts like a sponge and likes to promote rust.

I did that once, and after doing my brakes, I don't think I'll ever do it again. Just put it this way: one romp through the mud, and your whole undercarriage will pretty much be permanently covered in it.... The day after, I washed it for 5 hours straight, completely hosed out the undercarriage and still had mud caked everywhere...

Don't worry.. this isn't the first time I've done this sort of thing.. it was raining so that made it very easy to come off at a coin op carwash.. I'm tossing it up on jackstands today and taking the wheels off cleaning all around the suspension and the back of my brakes.. I already got most of the underside with the coin-op.

The absolute worst thing to get out of your car is SAND! I still think I've got at least 50lbs of the stuff in my car from a rally-x event I ran 2 summers ago.. The vents were blowing sand for weeks after that :?

One of the guys from the Toronto Subaru club as expressed an intrest in taking his P4 rally car up there... so we're thinking about doing a video of a few different cars up there.. setting it to some music. Adam (guy with the Jeep) also said it'd be cool if we used the Bobcat and the backhoe he's got kickign around to make a winter track up there.. so that should be a pile of fun.

hell yeah, I dont know about jumpin a unibody car repeatedly unless its got a burly cage. its your ride though. ive jumped mine before but im not going to make a habit of it. now my brothers truck on the other hand... hes gone through a few front spring packs until he realised you need bumpstops. weve had all four wheels several feet off the ground. 83 toyota 4x4, stock on 33x10.5x15s, rusty.

getting 3 feet of air will damage your rear struts. Trust me, I know.
