And the WRC driver's/co-driver's title goes to: Petter Solberg/Phil Mills and Subaru. Even the once great Tommi Mak didn't screw up today and landed a third! And with only two cars to Ford's 3 or 4 Subaru still beat them out for third in Manufacturer's. Peugeot and Citroen also used 4 cars/rally as well as having, what I'm sure are, much larger budgets. But much respect due to everyone else in the series - it was a hell of a show!

Sweet! It's about time, that was a hell of a dry spell. I just saw the Tour De Corsa rally last weekend( I don't have speed ch. and a buddy tapes the rallies and brings them when he come to town) and Solberg/Mills ran a great race. Whew...now I can finally cut my toe nails

Woooo! hooooo!

That was truely an awesome race, to see Petter and Seb in the top two the whole race with Petter consistently thrashing him. This season has been cinematic for Petter. In Corsica, his crew completely reassembled his beat up car overnight - just in time for the race. In Catalunya, a time penalty dropped him out of contention until the skies opened rain for him on the third day to give him an advantage that kept him in the points.

Plus, it was a lot of fun to watch Colin and Mak duel for third. Since it was the last race for both of the old rivals, they were clearly going all out and having more fun than they've had in a long time. You could tell from all the smiles and hugs at the end of the race that it was quite a day. And you gotta love Mak doing the moonwalk in gold boots!
