Nice! To be honest, I think that is my color of choice for a Legacy Turbo. It shows the lines the best... Very clean!

I fully intend on keeping it clean...
In fact I'm taking it to get the roof rust removed and repainted next week, and I'm going to see what it would cost to touch up the chipped but touched up paint on the passenger front fender.

Get the chrome on the black molding going around the car black, tint the windows, and maybe smoke the lights, I don't know how legal it is but I haven't been pulled over in the three years I've been driving with them like that on either of my cars.

I don't know how well that chrome stuff holds paint. I guess if you prepped it well enough it'd be fine.
Someone on nasioc posting a link to some products that you use to color chrome, can't remember it though

I'll figure it out I'm sure
I haven't decided if I'm going to buy a 92 turbo I know of for parts. If I do though I could use it's molding, as well as door handles in black.
Problem is I have no where to park the parts car...

I believe all the molding is black with a chrome stripe like yours

clear corners, and dechromeing for sure. I painting my strips black. I scuffed the chrome with light sandpaper, than gave it a few coats of etching primer and then a few coats od semigloss black lacquer, blends right in with the rubber door trim. On the bumpers I just peeled off the chrome strip.

It's a Canadian Market 91 automatic..
Not sure what the difference is between em. though.

I would recommend de-chroming the moldings, but there's another way to do it. Discount sells black tape that you can cover up your chrome with, I don't know if electrical tape will do just as good, but if you take your time and do it right (an Exacto knife would be your friend

), it would look really good.

WOW
that's all I can say about driving it tonight.
I picked it up at around 5:00 and drove it for a good 3 hours...
Took it up to 115MPH and busted a weld on the original muffler, (assuming it happened then) now it has a nice low rumbling sound,
so that is the "suby" sound everyone is talking about.
I may jb weld it, but I may just let it rot off and get the 2.5" catless turbo back in the spring...

Yep thats the grumble, hopefully you wont be a fool like me and damage your heat shields so you get a cracking sound when you are at certain rpms, really blows.

Naw, when I was under it last the heat shields were pretty much gone and rotted off, so not much stuff left to rattle about

Slate Metallic, wicked color name.
I'm going to be very good to her/it.
She's going in for some touch up painting next week and a new windshield.
This thread will end up being my picture update and story about (name goes here)
