Parking brake won't release. What do I do?

Hey All,
I'm going tomorrow to look at a 92 turbo that's been sitting around for a while. I've already been told the parking brake won't release, and I'm wondering what might cause that. More importantly, what do I do about it? Aside from the adjusting screw on the back of the brake, is there anything else I should check / adjust?
I want turbo goodness!

It depends -- in what way won't it release? Will the lever not go down or are the parking brake drums stuck or something?
My brother had a 1982 Supra parts car that we wanted to move out of the driveway. We put the parking brake lever down but the parking brakes were siezed. We were able to break that free by just towing the car a couple feet using my old Legacy GT. Probably not the best way to do it if you plan on using the car though...

I'm not sure. I haven't even laid eyes on the car yet. All I've been told is the parking brake won't release, and its on enough that they don't want to drive it to the dealer to get it fixed.
I'm hoping I can get something figured out with the adjusting screw, or a small hammer

The drum parking brake is probably just stuck. Just do the toeing thing, or take the rear wheels off and bang on the drum portion of the rear rotor to help dislodge the pads from the rotor.

Just got back from looking at it. They were stuck, a bit of gas and off we went!
The rotors as a whole need changing, so any other parking brake problems will get sorted out.
