Here's stupid question, but I couldn't find anything in the archives.

I've heard a people claim that Legacy Sport Sedans don't weigh any more than an Impreza RS (I know I've heard it claimed here, but more recently it came up in a Nasioc thread http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... did=456886)

But, this is what carpoint.com says:

2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS Coupe Manual: 2795lbs
1991 Subaru Legacy Sport Manual: 3140lbs

345 pounds is a big difference. Now, I know carpoint can be pretty clueless... especially when it comes to a rare trim level on a rare car. But can someone enlighten me?

What does it weigh?

Cars.com and one of the brochures on daves site says 3140 aswell.

I actually weighed mine. It came to 2980 with 4 gallons of gas or so.

I have a 1993 5mt Sport Sedan - WRX seats and wheels/tires, both of which I do believe weigh more than what they replaced...

When I put my WRX wheels on I can definitely say they weighed LESS then the oem 15" legacy turbo wheels.

The WRX wheels are definatly lighter than any other wheel, the tires probably way more than a 14 inch but in the end you are positive.
