Pretty good coverage. Some cool coverage of Competion su Glace up in Quebec and some coverage of ice racing on Georgetown lake here in CO. May have an SCCA rallycross there this winter.

The Ice Racing in Quebec is held down the street from where I work.
When it's in Lachine Montreal.
Next year (2004), the IRSI Ice Racing (they race with WRC cars) will be like 10km (8min drive) from where I live !!! Cool, no need for motel room like the past years when it was at 300km (3hrs drive) from my place!

Hmmm... Only 10 k eh. That looks like a blast. There is some talk about a new ice racing series here in CO for rally cars. We have something like 30 teams in the state now with rally cars, and one just happens to be the owner of the Bridgestone Winter Driving School in Steamboat Springs, and the organizer of the Colorado Cog which will be a SCCA Pro event this year. I thought I saw the LaChute Impreza racing at the footage of last years Challenge sur Glace. I want to try and find a set of the tires they're using. Burly studs made by Continental.

That's the car and those are the tires. Sounds like a pretty good price for a set of tires. You'll have to tell me what you think after racing on them. Our ice races are in question for this year. May have to go up and play with the jeeps in Georgetown.

Hey Grant, remember that car !??
Well yesterday, that car was at the shop and I got a chance to test
drive it !!! On each side of the garage, there are gates so that nobody
can go and steal whatever there's behind the shop.
Anyway, when we open both gate, we can drive around the building
and since it's coverds in ice, well we got a nice test track!!!

I was driving the whole circle sideway foot to the floor!!!
Until the cops came over for a complainte...But hey, it's a private proprity.
So, we continued !!! :D

Those tires are really cool, too bad they're not legal in rally (north america).

That's awesome Nick. Some day I'd like to build a car or take my rally car (not the colt) up and race in some of those events. They look super fun and those tires are just mean looking!
