I NEED HELP ?!?!?!?

for starters i have some verry bad hesitation that is similar to what iggdawg and dave had but when i changed my plugs i found that one of them was oil coated. i cousulted my haynes manual and it said it could be either a valve guide thats worn out or that a piston ring is worrn out. i need to know if there is a way of detirmining which one it is so that i can properly fix it. also when i changed my plugs i put bosch plugs in when i had ngkR plugs and when i first drove it, it ran perfect no hesitation but after giving it a fes runs the hesitation is now only back but its comes back more often and always at part throtle and nothing above 3k rpm. im wondering if it could be because of the bosch plugs.
secondly is there a way to route vacum hose for a boost gauge without drilling into the firewall.
third i recently got in a wreck and pulled a hood off a nonturbo car because i was straped for cash and was wondering if it was dangerous to run without the hood scoop. its still below 50 degrees outside but when it warms up will not having the scoop be a problem.
fourth can you directly bolt up the new sti turbo to your stock set up as a direct upgrade or is there ligh to heavy modifacations needed.
and fifth ive seen aftermarket trumpet style bovs plumbed into soft pipe in place of stock units on dsms and was wondering if anyone has tried this or if it was possible to do that on our cars.
if anyone can help me on any of these things it would be grately apricatied

I find Bosch plugs to not be very good in these cars. The NGKs are better.

Run a compression check - if it's good, it's not the rings leaking oil.

When was the last time the fuel filter was changed? Mine always hesitates when it tells me it's time for a change.

You can route the vacuum hose through by the fender, I believe. I ran some wires through there. Can't remember exactly where. MAybe push it through with the harness somewhere.

The hood shouldn't be a problem as these turbos are water cooled. You could always cut a hole for a NACA dust if you're really concerned.

STI turbo will require different fuelling requirements as well as different uintake plumbing, ahich is fine - you'll need an intercooler, too. Really the best thing to do would be to get a stand alone ECU, then you can run nearly anything.
