I emailed you this too, but...

I'm afraid the clutch kit won't fit right into your non-turbo car. Subaru uses pull-type clutches with turbo transmissions and push-type clutches on non-turbos. So unless you plan to swap to a turbo tranny, I don't think you can make use of this clutch.

You may be able to get a lightly used clutch from a non-turbo Impreza owner on NASIOC (www.nasioc.com) pretty cheaply.

I think the impreza's only have ej18 and ej25 engines, but I'm not 100% on that but most if not all products for an ej motor or tranny will fit on one another. Same goes with bc/bf and gc/gf chassis as far as supension goes.

EJ22s in Imprezas made their debut as standard on the OBS. Later expanded as an optional engine to the rest of the range. Brighton kept the EJ18, but I think that was discontinued before the end of that bodystyle's run.

Imprezas had EJ22s too... My old 97 Impreza L had one.

But, yeah, all Subarus are pretty much the same. :) I believe the phrase that's currently in fashion is "like Legos."

I'm not 100% certain, but I'm about 90% certain that a clutch for any non-turbo Impreza, Legacy, Outback, Baja, or Forester will fit your car, ub_imprezzed.

EJ22 wasnt available until 1995. Even then many cars still had ej18 until 1998 when the 2.5 was introduced to the line.
