Street racing is bad, mmkay.

Hate to break it to you... but that Accord is going to spank you silly. My mom has a 02 4-door v-6 and that thing would blow my doors off until i got my exhaust put on... and i've never gone up against it since, maybe i should call her out when she gets back from Alabama
P.S. - if it's a 03 or later, really forget about it. those have +30 hp over the first v-6's.
the wolfsburg will be close, but you should have him. I raced one, but the kid just got it and he wasn't really familiar with it and it was his first stick. I drove it, too and it hustles.
This was all on a closed race course with professional drivers, of course. - disclaimer

The first breed of the Accord V-6's ran low 16's consistently. If you don't have anything done to your car, it will be a tight race. I'm not sure about the other cars. I would think they are both 15 second cars with decent drivers, but what do I know?

Where were these running? I've seen mid 15's for the early v-6 accords. If the numbers are from a higher elevation then, of course, they will be lower. I genuinely believe that my mom's car will run mid-high 15's. After 40 mph it's just a couple blinks away until you are doing 80. I'll get her to the drag strip in spring to find out for sure.
And he is racing a 2-door. I would think they would be lighter, but you never know. And Honda has a habit of putting a little more power in the coupes. My brother had a Legend coupe with a manual transmission... hoo-boy that thing would skat... chirping into 3rd gear. I probably would have bought that car years ago if the synchromesh wasn't going bad.

This one?
Was that a 6-speed? Those suckers had 240 hp, I'll bet it hauled!!!

That's the Legend I almost bought except green. Those were great cars! Fast, solid, comfortable... The 2-door was grossly underrated design wise as typical, if Germans had built it they would have called it 'tastefully understated elegance', but since it was Japanese, they called it conservative (or they like bland, too). I don't know what the hell Honda was thinking when they replaced this car with the thing that followed.

The 91-96 Legends were really nice, I can't figure out why Honda refuses to make Acuras RWD like real luxury cars! The Coupes with the Type II 3.2L had 230hp, and ran mid 15's. The regular ones had 200hp and ran 16's... As for the 3.5RL's... complete crap, slow, ugly and huge. The 3.2TL's are pretty nice though, too bad they're FWD...
