I'm at work today(Sears, tool dept) and a couple (mid 40's) is talking about the tire chains they just got for $20 as I'm ringing them up. As a joke I say "Instead of tire chains, I've got a subaru you can have for 2 grand"
They laugh and say "How many miles"
"Nearly 210 thousand, and still runnin strong"
"well, that's good to know!"
"why?"
"we just bought a 2002 subaru"
"oh, what model?"
"impreza"
"sweet! yeah, subarus are indestructable. congratulations!"

lol. . . you should apply at the Subbie dealership for a sales position. With testimonial like that, you'd make a killing, Laurel. ;)

I say once you move up this way you start sweet-talking your way into one of those positions at Carter in Seattle. Odds are you'll live no more than 10 minutes from there, anyway. :D

And with all the freakin' referrals I'm sending to Joe Spitz, I'm sure he'd more than put in a good word for you. ;)

lol, just about. . . . except she works the "quick service" area (next door) which is part of the dealership, but not the same as the parts department and regular service.

They do have a decent female presence there, though. I've seen at least half a dozen gals around who work there. . . so you wouldn't be the ONLY one. ;)
