I'm at work today(Sears, tool dept) and a couple (mid 40's) is talking about the tire chains they just got for $20 as I'm ringing them up. As a joke I say "Instead of tire chains, I've got a subaru you can have for 2 grand"
They laugh and say "How many miles"
"Nearly 210 thousand, and still runnin strong"
"well, that's good to know!"
"why?"
"we just bought a 2002 subaru"
"oh, what model?"
"impreza"
"sweet! yeah, subarus are indestructable. congratulations!"

lol. . . you should apply at the Subbie dealership for a sales position. With testimonial like that, you'd make a killing, Laurel.

I say once you move up this way you start sweet-talking your way into one of those positions at Carter in Seattle. Odds are you'll live no more than 10 minutes from there, anyway.
And with all the freakin' referrals I'm sending to Joe Spitz, I'm sure he'd more than put in a good word for you.

lol, just about. . . . except she works the "quick service" area (next door) which is part of the dealership, but not the same as the parts department and regular service.
They do have a decent female presence there, though. I've seen at least half a dozen gals around who work there. . . so you wouldn't be the ONLY one.
