I haven't gotten around to checking, but my rearview mirror is very loose, I cant even flick the "dimmer" without moving it 45 degrees off where I want it.

Does the little screw in the back tighten it up?

I know I could find this out but It's cold and dark outside, and it popped into my head as another thing to post.

Maybe its just yours that is loose?

The mirror on my 97 GT was like that... I never got around to it, but I was planning on popping the mirror out of its ball-and-socket joint, wrapping some thin cloth or paper or something around the ball, and popping it back in. I figured that would make it hold its position more sturdily.

My friend's old Saab 9000 had a really hard-to-push mirror. It was great.
