how do i remove?

how do i remove the wiper arms? need to paint them, all rusty and crappy looking!
also. how do you remove the trim around the doors. the black is flaking off and id like to remove and paint those too!
and since im on the subject. how do the headlights come out? i need to clean them up and get that yellow crap off them. then clearcoat them.

Wiper arms: there is a bolt w/ a rubber cap over it that attaches them to the car. take it off and the arms come off easily.

With the hood open its easier. 10mm?

oooo.. good question. I'd like to know this one too.. cuz then i can get it painted either all black or body color.

to get the trims off, open the doors and peel off the rubber weatherstripping, when thats out of the way you'll see a million little sheet metal screws. Take these out and the trim peices will come off along with the metal weatherstriping forms. Its very easy to do.

I've never taken apart the wagon trims. but i presume it would be identical, up to the back door that is, then it may be held on with clips or maybe more sheet metal screws, dont know. have a go at it and fill us in

well, i did and now i cannot figure a way to remove the rest of the trim from the quarter window area.i suspect i have to remove an interior trim to get ahold of those screws.i'll keep trying
