Wing Repair!

So I've been repairing (sanding & priming, sanding & priming, sanding & priming) the abused rear wing off my Leg and it's just about ready for paint...my car is Rio Red but has 13 years of sun fading and wear...should I try and paint the wing to match (red) or should I paint the wing flat black (like the previous owner did to the hood scoop!)?
Opinions?

personally, Jeez. that's a pickle. the wing may look plastic-y if you paint it black, thats the only problems i have with flat black paint, but if you paint it red then it wont match....
Go with black.
Sand and paint your black plastic lip while you're at it.

Flat black is the easiest thing to paint well and it dries so fast that nothing can get in it. Plus if you're impatient like me it's perfect. See if you can fnd the appliance epxoy paint - that stuff is indestructable, I used it on the hood of my last car.

With computer matching nowadays, they can account for an approx sunbleach when mixing up the paint for you. Or better yet if you have a paint chip lying around take that in to scan and they can get an exact match of the paint on your car, with weathering accounted for.

OK the wing is set for it's final sanding and final coat of sealer/primer as soon as it stops raining...
You can see the test spray for the red paint, color looks like a somewhat close match...but it's way shineier than the paint on the car, still not 100% sure which way I'm gonna go....
