Mind you, those are the most common problems, when a problem can be found. I was in a car that had 275,000 miles with no major engine work, origional clutch and trans and still pulled real strong. Others here have been or owned cars that weren't taken care of and seemed to be falling apart. I would side with the fact that for the most part, the problems you will face will be minor. The other problems come with age and missuse.

Figureing out how a car was treated will go a long way into how you can judge how it will treat you back.

My car has had almost no problems since I bought it a little over a year ago. I've put just about 30,000 miles on it so far also. The only problem I've had a bad sensor that will cost me 60 bucks and the time to replace it and a cvjoint. Everything else is so minor as to not count (two fuel lines that were heat soaked and cracking, changed tranny fluid, and a bad electrical wire to the fuel pump.)

I would say these cars are more reliable than most, and the problems stated are things to watch out for because they are the most recurring. Just be aware of them.

On any other car the list would be much greater by any honest person.
