Rear wagon springs in a AWD sedan?

Has anybody ever done this with good results?

Ciper and I have finally hooked up on his set that he had for sale - but they are out of a wagon and they are going into a sedan.

Spring rate is quite a bit different 179 lbs (2WD) - 190 lbs (AWD) for the wagon VS 132 lbs for the AWD sedan.

Any info would be most appreciated!

It would probably handle more fun. The back might end up a little higher than the front, but I'm not sure. You could put more weight in the back without sagging, too.

The spring is probably the same height, the rate will just be higher. I'd think the rear would be a bit more likely to step out, akin to putting a large rear swaybar on.

FYI, i'm putting 8kg/mm springs on the rear with my coilovers. That's almost 450lbs :D

The springs are the same height.

The only difference would be swapping FWD into AWD.

The difference in height would only exist when adding weight, for example 200 pounds in trunk on stock might lower 1/4 while 200 pounds with these lower 1/8?
