In contrast to those pretty Turbos

The good old wagon, doing the proper donut. The lower pic is the little guy ticking over 200K, @ WOT in 2nd. As money permits it will get some love from the Suby parts bin, some Al wheels, new brakes, struts, exhaust. By the time I'm out of College with a job those 05 Legs will be pretty tempting. I think I'll keep the trusty 92 for some future rallying or in spite of my first born.

Looking good man!

I plan on keeping my 94 Turbo as a rally rig after I buy a new car.

I've wanted this car for to long just to get rid of it in 3 years. I'll keep it until it's dead, then I'll rebuild it and keep it until it dies again.

Hey, 26mph...

You should still be in 1st gear at that point though...

My bad

Yea I guess it probably was in 1st  it was hard to drive and operate my crappy camera. I was going for the long exposure-needle sweep but missed the timing. And don't worry it gets driven harder than any sports car, it dosen't know it's slow.

If that was 1'st, you'd be at closer to 4500 wouldn't you?

In my own defense.....Again

Ok it was a 2nd gear roll-on, trying to get a long exposure pic of the needle sweeping to waaaaaaaay more than 3K 25MPH, but it didn't catch the right RPM range. Here's another potentially cool pic ruined by my hack skills and crappy camera. This one taken on my occasional “commute” from ND to CO. Professional driver on a closed course in an undisclosed rectangle state.

Still looks slow, why would you ever reach 4k rpm even at the bottom of a gear? Considering peak power output and adjusting shift points to match it should be higher. How many rpm does a gear normally take in a manual?

Yea, I don't quite understand that.

Do you have a manual or an automatic?

This is a N/A 4EAT. 4k, bottom of 4th

gotta be a manual, no gear indicators between the tach and speedo

Yea it's a manual, from a 95 if that makes a difference. And it's the top of 5th, not the bottom

I have pics of 80mph in 4th at 4500 rpm, it was a long time ago, as the mileage was 94,400

I also have pics of it turning 100k...

That's the top of 5th! WOAH

The pic I posted is the bottom of 4th in a 4EAT.

Anyway, car still looks pimpin man. Keep it forever.
