they obviously arent very good quality, but I spoke with the seller and the spring rates are 350# front, 300# rear. seems like these could be an ok setup unless the collars are total garbage, anyone seen em first hand?

I'd stay away. Looking at that seller's feedback and other auctions you can tell they make their money by selling inferior products to rice boys. Some of their descriptions pretty much flat-out lie, like the "catalytic converters" which are really just pipes.

This auction description says both "95-'01 and '94-'01. And what exactly does stuff like "High Quality Japan SAE 9254 Steel Wire made" mean?

In my opinion, this is a case where you get what you pay for. I've read some accounts of people who bought similarly cheap stuff on eBay saying things like, "you can't hold up a car with an aluminum can!"

No first hand, spring rates look too high for any normal strut (agx may be okay).

fullmonte77 on nasioc has them, why not PM him?

it appears that the threaded collar part attaches to the strut with a single set screw. unless I am wrong, I am surprised they would even hold a car up much less over bumps  with 300+ spring rates. definitely not getting em.

Haha... I love that they advertise a 1 year limited warranty as one of the product's features and then on their policy page disclaim all warranties express or implied.

Even factoring in that the materials are weak for model cars and that they are likely built in China or Pakistan, I still don't even see how they can make a profit at $58 But It Now. Total junk. I like that they fit a 94 2.5 RS. If they can find one of those, I'll buy their shitty springs.

ok this kinda proves the product is BS.
sidesteps a valid tech question with a nonsense answer.
